A comprehensive set of well protocols with some bonus components that include an EPSDT component, an adolescent hearing and vision question component and an oral health risk assessment. Orders associated with the patient flowsheet are being utilized along with chart-wide components. All making for efficient charting and a set of well protocols that would work well for any practice.

From the client: We have followed Bright Futures Guidelines, providing an efficient way to capture all of the developmental screening and surveillance and anticipatory guidance needed. We have also recorded several additional elements such as oral health risk assessment for 6 mos and 9 mos (and have an available add-on protocol for when this is needed at older ages). Allows for easy prompting of anticipatory guidance items. –

This protocol has a unique text box component called “Pre-visit Planning” at the top of each well and sick visit protocol. This provides the practice with a place to capture pertinent information for any upcoming visit. Enabling the last saved answer functionality, this component displays the information in subsequent well and sick visit protocols.
