Jan Blanchard and Jim Smith from PCC worked to develop the following protocols based on the Bright Futures 4 protocol standards.
Dare2Care Pediatrics Protocols
Dare2Care Pediatrics has agreed for us to share their protocols with other practices. They have built a number of detailed diagnosis specific protocols.
Down Syndrome Add-On Protocols
A recent discussion on PCC Community was focused on Down Syndrome health supervision and using PCC EHR protocols to help with that work. Dr. Bowman from Cary Pediatrics and Dr. Kaplan from TLC Pediatrics of Frisco offered to share their protocols they have created.
Down Syndrome Add-On Cary Pediatrics
Down Syndrome Add-On 1mo-1yr TLC
Down Syndrome Add-On 1yr-5yr TLC
First Choice Pediatrics Protocols
First Choice Pediatrics has agreed for us to share their protocols with other practices. They have diagnosis specific protocols built and small add-on protocols with diagnosis specific plan components. They also have a Nurse Intake protocol. This protocol is the protocol that is mapped to the sick visit reasons. The nurse fills out the Nurse Intake protocol and then the provider changes the protocol when they enter the room. By changing the protocol, the Nurse Intake section stays at the top of the visit, with the provider’s portion of the visit below.
Eden Park Pediatrics Protocols
Eden Park Pediatrics has agreed for us to share their protocols with other practices. They have many diagnosis specific protocols built. They also have an Asthma Action Plan add-on protocol and they have configured the elements from that add-on protocol to print on the patient visit summary.
Current PCC Default Protocols
These are the protocols PCC loads by default for all new clients. They can be used as is or modified to suit your individual and/or practice needs. The number of protocols available by default has been drastically reduced to provide you with a solid base set. However, there are many other protocols available on this website for you to peruse. If you would like others made available to you, just let us know!
